FRIENDS OF A LIFETIME
Being able to photograph Miguel Sánchez in underwear was something very special, I have known him from all my life he is a great friend, with whom I have many things in common despite the distance.
I always went to spend the summer in Santa Pola with my family, an area of Alicante that is fantastic, but in the late 80s it was incredible, its beaches, beach bars on the sand, its rice restaurants and its old area of bars made it different.
It is there that I met Miguel, he always had very good energy, we were 16 years old, we were handsome, fun and eager to eat the world, we went out for Pedal, Ecolo and the beach bars or sometimes we ended up in Camelot, a disco that made us live unforgettable moments, I suppose that for many people these names did not ring a bell, but the people who know me and are close to me know what I am talking about… they were the best summers of my life, I will never forget it.
After these incredible summers, we were taking different paths, Miguel decided to have a calmer life and start a family, his son was born, I know him little, but he has a lot of his father, I nevertheless decided to continue with my creative streak and leave alicante to fulfill my dreams.
After 20 years without seeing us, we met again through my friend Juanfran. We had changed a lot, but the most important thing was still the same, we were still the great friends that we always were.
