Traveling to Australia was always one of my dreams that can come true, I was for Christmas with my best friends, enjoying 15 days of its wonderful landscapes, beaches, parties and of course its wonderful people, we had fantastic experiences, but above all a lot Laughter and the occasional anecdote that I will tell at another time.
After spending one of the most special new years of our lives together and with great regret of returning, we prepared our return, I might not return to Spain after such a long plane trip, so at the last decisive moment change my return and give me two more months to travel Australia in a rental car.
I woke up one morning alone, and I started to schedule my trip, I knew that it is a very big country and that I had to focus on what I was really looking forward to, so I decided to see the eastern part of Australia.
GREAT OCEAN ROAD
I left Melbourne with a red Jeep on the way to the Great Ocean Road, it is one of the sections that nobody has to miss if you travel to Australia, it is a very complete area that you can breathe its essence in all its splendor, forests, jungles, cliffs , beaches, koalas, kangaroos, surfing, lighthouses, small towns with a holiday atmosphere with very good options for eating and drinking, a 243 km route in which almost all the way you drive totally alone enjoying the great beauty of nature.
If you want to enjoy the road you need three days, I did it in a week, I was not in a hurry, so when I saw a place I liked it, I had more days.
The first place you come across is Torquay, in this area is where professional surfing was born, although the most famous surfers beach is Bells Beach, I was also able to see one of the important lighthouses in Aireys Inlet and spend the night in Lorne, one of the most charming towns in the area, with the aim of getting up early and enjoying a path full of Koalas and kangaroos, passing through incredible viewpoints (the best known is Teddy’s Lookout) until you reach the waterfalls
After passing through the Wye River and its spectacular beach, I arrived at one of the unmissable points when traveling the Great Ocean Road: the Kennett River, this area is where most Koalas I could see sucking or sleeping in its eucalyptus branches.
Apollo Bay is the most mythical and famous town on the Great Ocean Road, its views are incredible, it is common to see Whales in spring and winter, but one of the main reasons for this trip is to visit The Twelve Apostles at sunset, I spent hours looking at him listening to classical music, it is the most wonderful thing I have ever seen.
Well … I think I’m curling up a bit and I would stay to tell you everything I could see in my remaining 45 days, but I’ll explain it later, but I don’t want to stop mentioning where I met Antoine Beaucour.
Antoine Beaucourt in boxer shorts libertine, French living in Australia, lover of surfing and freedom, his stories make him The Perfect Son.
When are you the perfect son?
I’m the perfect son when I’m happy, satisfied with what I’m and what I do
When are you not the perfect son?
I will disappoint my entourage if I don’t go as far as I could
BONDI BEACH SIDNEY
It was in Bondi Beach (Sydney) where I stayed my last week, staying in a Hostel called Bondi Backpacker, located ten meters from the sand and surf, there I met many interesting and fun people including Antoine a French guy who loves surfing and freedom, his stories made him a real The Perfect Son Libertine.
The libertines, Men ready to do anything for the search of authentic pleasure. Vital pleasure that goes beyond physical or spiritual boundaries.
