Andrés Zurdo was born in Barcelona, a city full of light, culture, art and a great lifestyle, I can’t stand people who compare it to Madrid, as if we had to stay with one! Spaniards are lucky to have a wonderful and very diverse.
Barcelona is one of the most spectacular Mediterranean cities, it has everything of a great capital, but with one of the greatest treasures that can surround a place, the sea.
As a good Mediterranean, I dare to say that it is one of the most incredible places to live, it has beaches, sun almost all year round, small mountains for cycling or large mountains for skiing.
It is a comfortable city that you can explore by bicycle, visit its historical archaeological center, stroll through its large avenues full of shops and restaurants and above all enjoy the thousands of terraces full of people wanting to have fun.
I was lucky enough to live in Barcelona for six years, I had very funny moments, but also very sad, it was these moments that made me think who did not want to be in my life, I met many people believing that they would be friends forever (as he says the Manolos song) but the people there are very selective and in many cases they have so many prejudices that they are never what they want to be, if not what people think you have to be.

During the time that I lived there we tried to find a space to be able to photograph it, but it was after five years that we were finally able to meet.
He told me between photo and photo that one of the ways to enjoy was to escape to the beach.
¨Sometimes when I escape, I end up writing my thoughts in a notebook, I use that time of solitude to write what worries me, it is not a diary, what a cost ehhh! ¨
