The Perfect Son boxer is a revolution in the concept of boxer known until now. We have respected the most classic shirt tradition but with an approach adapted to the 21st Century. Same as a Century ago, all boxers are cut with scissors, sown with single needle machines and with French seam finishing. All boxers are checked manually and individually before packaging. All that together with the latest software allows us to personalise the final touch and use the latest technology to deliver quality underwear to your door.

The pattern and shape of our boxers is essential to give the garment greater comfort, so there are no extra or indeed missing pieces. Open, adjustable waistband with tailored fly, invisible bar tacks, no side seams and a single backside piece with clean seams for the inside leg, giving a pleasing ergonomic look. Then, there is the most important front piece, with a double layer of fabric which provides substance and avoids transparency.

We use the best quality materials. An exquisite packaging linked to our passion for detail, makes each of our boxers unique. 140’s textiles, 100% fine cotton, 9 stitches per centimetre, personalised Australian nacre buttons and microfibre latex free elastic defines the excellence of our boxer shorts.

The craftsmanship handed down through generations in Barcelona and not yet corrupted by globalisation allows the production of our seven different models presented in splendid cube packaging. Each cube/model contains an exclusive fragrance developed by our experts. The fragrance will allow you to experience the pleasure of the first day again and again.

MATERIALS

THOMAS MASON

Sir Thomas Mason is considered one of the fathers of the English textile Industry. His business founded in the late XVIII expanded in the XIX Century with the British Empire becoming a reference for male elegance and excellence in textiles. In the 20´s and 30´s London became the centre for male elegance. Again, in the 60´s Mason took a leading role at the sartorial revolution.

 ALBINI

Zaffiro Borgomaro is the founder in 1876 Italy of the company to produce the finest textiles in the world. His nephew Giovani Albini inherited the company in 1890. Today the business is still in the hands of the 5th family generation and is the most important shirt fabrics manufacturer in Europe.

Our boxer shorts are made out of natural fibres 100% cotton. The longest strand determines the quality of the cotton. We use 3.8 and 5.7 cm. Giza 45 from Egypt and Supima from the USA are softest and most resistant cottons in the market.

Another important quality of cotton textiles is the ply. Two ply cotton is more resistant. Shirts are often labelled as two ply cotton as a quality aspect. When the two ply is in both senses (vertical and horizontal) we find the best quality textile cotton.

Another characteristic in cotton textiles is the thickness. The higher the thinner. A Standard textile for boxers is 50´s. We use textiles of 70’s 100’s two ply cotton. And even 140´s two ply cotton for some models. This makes our boxers softer and with an impeccable fitting. In addition, the jacquard in our textile is the finest and only detectable from very close.

GIZA 45

We use Giza 45 which is considered the king of the Egyptian cottons. What is Giza 45?
Giza 45 is the most highly graded cotton fibre of the Egyptian cottons. It is the longest, thinnest, strongest and most has the best uniformity index of 88.5 of the ‘Giza’ grade cottons. Meaning the irregularities are minimal, therefore producing a very smooth and silky look and feel when woven into fabric.

Giza 45 is undeniably the best cotton in the world. It has to do with a number of factors that ultimately combine to produce the finest cotton products.

As previously mentioned Giza 45 falls into extra-long category with a superior fibre. In addition to this and equally important, is the fineness (2.95 micronaire) and unmatched uniformity. These 3 properties alone are outstanding when combined to create a very fine and smooth hand feel, and also allow a naturally high thread count without the use of plied yarns.

The Perfect Growing Conditions
. Giza 45 is grown in Egypt, the home of the real Egyptian cotton. The specific area is on the Nile Delta is the most fertile area of Egypt where rain, sun, humidity and soil combine to produce a climatic perfection. These perfect conditions result in Giza 45, the best cotton in the world.

SUPIMA

Known as the Cache mire of cottons. Supima is cultivated in the USA with American 100% Pima cotton. This luxury cotton beats any other in softness, resistance and brightness. The name comes form the Indian tribe Pima that worked in the first plantations in Arizona.

BUTTONS

The selection of shells used in our buttons is made in the location where they grow. We use mother of pearl exclusively from non protected species (Trochas, Tahiti, Australia). However their collection is strictly regulated in order to preserve the marines species. This allows sustainable exploitation and protection of local communities.

Mother of Pearl is used for its beauty and iris colour. It is obtained out of the internal part of the shells producing the pearls. This makes every button unique.

Our elastic made of microfibre is extremely soft. The finest comfort and fit to the body avoids any marks on the skin. The latex free material used also avoids possible allergic reactions.

 CARE

The Perfect Son boxer short is made of 100% Egyptian cotton. Natural fibres are the best quality textiles but require special care. We have done our best in order to allow a daily use allowing a normal wash. However ironing is necessary due to the nature of the fabrics.

· Wash only in cold water. Washing in over 30C will shorten the life of the garment.
· Do not use whitening products
· Do not use the drying machine. It will damage the fabric and shorten the life of the garment.
· Ideally, when ironing make sure your shorts are damp. 100% cotton is easier to iron in this way
